You should immunize your child, since immunization stops the spread of disease, however immunization carries the risk of serious side effects in some children.

  • There are TWO indicator words to identify here
  • Work out what kind of indicators they are: is what follows each a reason, objection, or position?
  • Put the claims in appropriately colored boxes
  • Work out how to arrange the boxes into a map: ask yourself which claim a reason provides evidence for, and which claim an objection undermines
